These straps are more like nubuck finished, unlike the smooth and glossy finish for the black lizard straps I received. This was not mentioned in the description though. I emailed Tuns asking that they update the description to mention the type of finish. I would prefer to be able to buy brown lizard straps with the same finish as the black lizard straps. I coated mine with an acrylic finish which helped. But the colour turned to black.
